The Growing Apprenticeships in Nanotechnology and Semiconductors (GAINS) program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a pioneering initiative designed to revolutionize workforce development in the high-tech fields of nanotechnology and semiconductors.

By prioritizing foundational competencies and skills-based learning over traditional time-based training or degree programs, GAINS aims to create a more efficient and effective pathway for individuals to enter and excel in cutting-edge industries.

The program offers a unique blend of training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to prepare participants for the demands of the future workforce and provide a pathway to high-value careers and ongoing advancement.
